Mustard protege Roddy Rich took a hiatus from social media last February following the negative reception to his sophomore album, live life fast, Last Thursday (August 4) he returned to Instagram and shared with fans that he is battling emotional hardship. In his post, he revealed that he is working on his third installment feed tha streets mixtape series
Rich said in a caption, “I understand things have escalated and God has taken us to places we would have never imagined, but I am here for every challenge and obstacle,” Rich said in a caption. “Thanks to all who [sic] Support me in all the wonderful moments and through all the difficult times.”
Elsewhere in the post, Rich revealed that he’s working with some “amazing people” to create a tech company called Roll. He also shared that he plans to be transparent in the process of recording his music as well as his personal life.
“I want to be close to my fans and show all the sides that no one ever sees. I want to show my album process, my new journey to parenthood, and everything that comes with the life of being RR.”
