The Premier League season began yesterday with Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Crystal Palace. But today is the first full Saturday of top-flight action in England and we’ll tell you how to watch the best matches. Elsewhere on the sports calendar is an interesting soccer match from Germany and a slew of high-level games in MLB.
Here’s what I’m watching today.
A quick note: Due to COVID-19, sporting events are fluid and subject to change.
Chelsea at Everton
Chelsea come into this Premier League campaign with a new look up top. New owner Todd Boehli and manager Thomas Tuchel appear to be close to big-name transfers, only to see Barcelona sweep the same goals. Nevertheless, Chelsea would be looking to improve on their third-place finish by including Raheem Sterling ahead of Manchester City last season. Everton, on the other hand, narrowly escaped relegation last season. Now with a full preseason under manager Frank Lampard, will they be able to work their way up the table?
