jeslin siwa had something to say full house Star Candace Cameron Bure. On July 24, JoJo Siwa said in a viral TikTok that Bure was “the harshest personality” she had ever met. Two days later, Bure posted an Instagram video saying he called Siwa and cleared the air. Now, Siwa’s mom is calling Jesselyn Bure.
Let’s back it up a bit, to 2016. Jojo Siwa was 11 years old and attended its premiere. fuller house, Netflix’s follow-up series to Bure’s beloved ’80s sitcom. As Bure explained in his IG video, Siwa asked her to take a picture together that night, but the actor turned it down.
Jessalyn first spoke about the incident in a previous episode of her podcast success with jessie, and she re-shared a clip from the episode on Instagram on August 1 in light of Siwa and Bure’s recent back-and-forth. “Jojo ran into the DJ [Bure’s Full House character], and she’s like, ‘Oh my god, I love you so much. Can we take a selfie please?’ And [Bure] It was like, ‘Not now. maybe later.’ Exactly like that. ‘Not now, maybe later,’ said Jesselyn.
“He just couldn’t be bothered,” ex dance Moms Star continued, acknowledging that Bure could have done anything. “I don’t know what was going on but it’s funny when you don’t know and someone treats you like that…and it’s hard to be a celebrity. I’ll give it to you, but that’s a long time ago.. .and we still remember it!”
In her Instagram video, Bure also noted that JoJo said on her phone call that she remembered the incident, which caused Bure to say she felt “crushed” to break JoJo’s childhood heart. A representative for Burr did not return Elite Daily’s request for comment about Jessalyn’s post at the time of publication.
While it appears that JoJo and Bure are all good, Jesselyn also threw shade at Bure in her Instagram caption. “The recently told story wasn’t quite right so here’s the real version,” wrote Jeslin. “At the end of the day this story, it’s not about a simple picture, it’s about how you treat people. True, true kindness always goes a long way.”

A Christian, Burr regularly posts about the Bible on Instagram, although Jessalyn also had something to say about quoting the Bible. “It is very easy to quote a Bible verse when everyone is looking at you, but morality is what you have when no one is looking,” she said.
Bure has not publicly responded to Jesselyn’s post.
