Joe Coy On ‘Next Chapter’ With Chelsea Handler: ‘I Will Always Be Champion For Her’

Joe Coy is embracing his friendship with ex-girlfriend Chelsea Handler.

Attending the carpet for her new film Easter SundayCoy, 51, shared where he and Handler, 47, stood after their breakup last month.

This is not the first time the actor has spoken about the former couple’s new friendship. Right after the break last month, Coe spoke to TMZ about how they’re doing.

When asked if the two exes are still in touch, Coy said, “Yeah… that’s it.” He then refrained from revealing who put the relationship on hold, calling it a “private” matter. .

Coe was also asked if he was ready to “jump back into the dating pool.” At that, Coe laughed and said that he’s “going to focus on this movie for now.”

Handler announced the couple’s separation on Instagram on July 18, sharing a video that was to be posted on their one-year anniversary.
