The preliminary round starts from today and the closing match of the day will be between Canada and Switzerland. The tournament will begin in Red Deer, Alberta.

It would be wrong to say that Canada would be in favor of this cup. The team has won 22 titles since the tournament began in 1991. It did not play in the tournament last year, however, due to the pandemic and was replaced by Germany. Russia has consistently won gold medals. Can Canada come back on top and win its first gold medal since 2019?
