Make no bones about it: Dog Day in the Deer District was a doggy success—at least enough for the downtown entertainment district to book a puppy-themed party not only for the next year but for the next year as well.
The second annual Doggy Day is Saturday, April 8 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Deer will get their paws on in the district.
The inaugural Doggy Day, held in the Deer District in April, featured a free dog-focused gathering that included vendors, food, drinks, canine agility games, live entertainment, and more, benefiting Winston’s wishes—a The all-volunteer non-profit organization works to support and care for dogs in need of extra care.
“We are very excited to bring Doggy Day back to the Deer District for the next two years,” Jake Schneider, founder and president of Winston Wishes, said in a release. “We are extremely grateful for the support the inaugural event has received. Helping our organization support more local puppies while providing a wonderful experience for all dog lovers who participate. We have been working with everyone and theirs for two years. Can’t wait to see the puppies!”
