American Idol has announced who will return for next season and Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie and host Ryan Seacrest are all returning.
This will be the 21st season of the singing competition – Seacrest has hosted each season, while it will be the sixth year for the judges, who all attended when the show moved from Fox to ABC.
Auditions will begin next month before the show airs in the spring of 2023.

Earlier this year, the show crowned its 20th winner, with Noah Thompson defeating Huntergirl in the final.
Following his win, Noah took to Instagram to thank all his fans for voting to win the show.
“Had a hard time making this post because I really can’t find the words to say. I was in complete shock in this moment and I still am and probably always will be!” Thompson wrote.
“Thank you all for giving me this opportunity, thank you to everyone who voted, thank you so much for everything!! If it wasn’t for all of you I wouldn’t be here, so you Many thanks to you guys. I’m looking forward to continuing this journey and see where it goes. Love you all.”
